At the request of family and friends of Army Spc. Wade A. Slack, a flag donated by Congressman Mike Michaud is raised to half staff outside the Forest J. Pare Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1285 in Waterville on Monday morning. Slack, who grew up in Waterville, was killed in Afghanistan on May 6.
